Nancy Praill is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service workers, as well as, the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Nancy has been working in social services for over a decade. She has a variety of experience in psychotherapeutic counselling specifically, and social services in general in Windsor and Essex County and the GTA. Experience includes work with individuals, couples, children, families, individuals with disabilities and groups. Nancy has provided such interventions to address many concerns including: depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, obsessions and compulsions, self-esteem, anger, marital and pre-marital difficulties, and substance abuse with particular interest in working with adult children and spouses of individuals suffering from substance abuse.
Nancy received her Hons. B.A. in psychology from the University of Windsor and her Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University. Further trainings and experience include: cognitive-behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, solution focused therapy, marital therapy, relaxation techniques, anger management, assertiveness training, crisis intervention and intensive behavioural intervention, etc. Nancy has a passion for learning and attends new trainings regularly.
